Wow! We can't believe it's 2008! Happy New Year to all!
We've had a busy fall, performing our environmental assembly programs at elementary schools all over Northern California, and are looking forward to visiting many more schools and festivals this spring! See our Show Schedule for when we will be visiting your area!
Also coming up is the world-premier of our first ever symphony, Vuela: An Americas Symphony, which we have composed for the Santa Cruz Symphony! The symphony is a narrated piece and is about a bird that migrates from the rainforest of South America to its summer feeding grounds in the U.S. As part of the Symphony's Family Concert Series, the piece will musically describe environmental and cultural regions of the Americas, and will include bilingual narration to help young audiences through the world of orchestral music. Concerts will be Saturday, March 1 at the Mello Center in Watsonville and Sunday, March 2 at the Santa Cruz Civic Auditorium. Tickets information is available at http://www.santacruzsymphony.com/order_tickets.htm
We are very excited and hope you can join us!!
Shortly after the symphony premier, we'll be heading to Hawaii for a week-long residency at The Parker School in Kamuela, Hawaii, where we'll be working with students in grades 3-8!!
We're looking forward to Earth Day events at the Bay Area Discovery Museum in Sausalito, CA on Saturday, April 19 and at the Town of Windsor's Earth Day Celebration on Sunday, April 20 as well as other venues in April!
Thanks for looking around our website! We hope to see you soon!
